Vetting the Horses
· All horses are vetted by our veterinary clinic experienced in the “American” standard
· All x-rays are digital and can be sent via email or post to your own veterinarian
· Horses are vetted to your specifications and any x-rays can be taken
Bloodtests
· Prior to shipping, blood will be drawn and tested for Dourine, Glanders, Coggins and Piroplasmosis (this process takes 3 days)
· Mares and stallions will also undergo CEM testing as well, which takes an additional 7 days
Shipping
· Transportation to the airport on the day of travel will be organized by Guido Klatte-International Horse Transportation company
· Klatte Transportation will also organize Transport of the horses via KLM Royal Dutch Airlines to anywhere in the world
· In California, horses fly into LAX Los Angeles and are processed directly into quarantine

Quarantine
· All horses are required to spend 48 hours in quarantine just after arrival at Jet Pets Equine
· Jet Pets veterinarians examine horses for general health and bloodtests are re-examined as well
· After 48 hours horses are released to their owners while mares and stallions are required to do additional quarantine time at a CEM quarantine facility
· California CEM quarantine horses will be sent to UC Davis for this stage which will be arranged by LaSalle Farms and Jet Pets Equine
